What Payments does for your business

Collecting payment after a field service job has traditionally been one of the most awkward parts of running a service business. Many small contractors wait days or weeks to get paid because their invoicing process is disconnected from the job itself. ServBuilder closes this gap by putting payment collection directly inside the job workflow. The moment a tech marks a job complete, the invoice is ready to send or present. Customers can pay by credit card on-site using their tech's phone as the terminal, or they can pay later via a secure link that works on any browser. For recurring customers, card-on-file auto-billing means you never have to ask for payment at all — it happens automatically after each visit. ServBuilder uses Stripe for all payment processing, meaning your funds arrive in one to two business days with full transaction-level reporting inside the app. There are no separate payment terminals to buy and no per-transaction monthly fees beyond Stripe's standard processing rates.
