When a job closes, ServBuilder syncs the invoice, customer record, line items, and payment status to QuickBooks Online so the field and the books stay in lockstep. That sync is on Professional and above. The ServBuilder QuickBooks integration is not a QuickBooks Desktop connector.

When a job closes, the invoice syncs; customer records, line items, and payment status stay in lockstep. The /pricing FAQ names the edition: QuickBooks Online on the Professional plan. Unlimited jobs and up to 15 team members. Adds smart dispatching, map routing and GPS tracking, route optimization, QuickBooks Online sync, invoicing and online payments, and the customer portal.
If your books are still on QuickBooks Desktop, ServBuilder will not sync them. The ServBuilder vs Kickserv page already says that is a genuine reason to stay put.

Does ServBuilder integrate with QuickBooks Desktop?
No. ServBuilder syncs with QuickBooks Online. It does not support QuickBooks Desktop. If your books live on Desktop and you are not moving, treat that as a real gap.
