Come build software that runs real businesses.
Open positions
We’re a small team doing important work for the people who keep the world running — plumbers, electricians, HVAC techs, and every other skilled trade. If you want to build software that makes a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re actively looking for talented people across engineering, design, and growth. Send us a note introducing yourself and we’ll be in touch.
Get in touchLife at ServBuilder
We are customer-first in everything we do. Every decision — from how a scheduling screen is laid out to which integrations we prioritize — starts with a simple question: does this make life easier for a service business owner? Our customers are running HVAC companies, lawn care routes, pest control territories, and plumbing operations. They work hard. Our job is to give them software that works just as hard, so they can focus on their trade instead of chasing paperwork.
We ship fast because our customers cannot afford to wait. We favor small, meaningful releases over long development cycles. If something is broken, we fix it today. If a customer surfaces a problem on Monday, we want a solution live by Wednesday. This means we hire people who are comfortable with ambiguity, who know how to prioritize ruthlessly, and who feel genuine satisfaction from seeing a real business owner benefit from work they shipped last week.
We own outcomes, not just outputs. Nobody here is waiting to be told what to do. When you take on a problem at ServBuilder, you own it end to end — from understanding why it matters to making sure it actually worked once it shipped. That means engineers talk directly to customers, designers read support tickets, and everyone knows the metrics that matter. We keep the team small and the ownership high on purpose.
We are fully remote and intend to stay that way. We hire the best people regardless of where they live, and we invest in making async communication and remote collaboration work well. We gather in person a few times a year for planning and team time, but your home is your office. We trust you to manage your time, do great work, and speak up when something is not working — whether that is a product issue or a process issue inside the company.
What We Offer
Health Insurance
Full medical, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents. ServBuilder covers the majority of premiums so quality healthcare is never a financial burden.
Remote-First Work
Work from anywhere. We are an async-first team with no mandatory office hours. We trust you to do your best work in the environment that suits you.
Equity
Every full-time employee receives a meaningful equity stake. We are building something together and we want everyone at the table to share in the outcome when ServBuilder succeeds.
Learning Stipend
An annual budget for books, courses, conferences, and certifications. We invest in your growth because better engineers, designers, and operators make a better product.
Flexible PTO
Unlimited paid time off with a minimum two-week expectation. We mean it — taking real breaks makes your work better, and we encourage the whole team to actually use this benefit.
Home Office Setup
A one-time stipend to kit out your home workspace — desk, chair, monitor, peripherals. If you are going to work from home, we want your setup to be excellent.
What Our Team Says
“What I appreciate most is that the work is genuinely meaningful. I have spoken with HVAC business owners who told me ServBuilder saved them hours every week. That feedback makes shipping feel different than any job I have had before. We are not building features into a void.”
“The ownership is real. I joined expecting to take direction from above, but within my first month I was leading decisions on the mobile app scheduling experience end to end. Nobody micromanages here. You are trusted to figure out the right answer, and you have teammates who will give you honest feedback when you need it.”
“Being remote means I get to live where I want and still work on something that excites me. The team communicates well, the async culture is genuine, and I have never once felt disconnected from what we are building or why. The in-person retreats are a bonus — it is nice to put faces to names a few times a year.”
